The Normandy Advertiser newspaper is sponsoring on Inheritance in Juvigny sous Andaine salle des fêtes, just the other side of Domfront, on the afternoon of the 16th November? We ran a similar session on inheritance issues in June near Saint Lô and attracted over 130 attendees. The speakers will be Gerard Barron, the Honorary Consul for Northern France, who is an avocat and will be able to untangle some of the legal queries regarding wills etc...
A Siddalls spokesperson will cover the financial implications of legacies and there will be a talk by a funeral celebrant about the nitty gritty of coping with the administrative side of someone dying here in France.
There is also a jolly nice free cup of tea and cake for all attendees too! I'll be there with copies of the Connexion and the Advertiser. The seminar is free, but it is essential to register as the salle des fêtes has a limited seating capacity. Click here for more details.

We have also arranged that your logo, web address and sales pitch can appear on a TV screen throughout the evening - further details will be sent out when you confirm your attendance. As ever, there will be plenty of time to make new contacts, re-establish existing ones, share best tips - and to have a great time!
There will be a free 'Normandy Networker' apéritif, followed by a delicious 3 course meal with wine, and lots of networking opportunities, plus a free Business Card prize draw on the evening.
As part of promoting Normandy Networking businesses we plan to take out a commercial classified advert on Normandy Angloinfo earlier in the New Year. We intend to place web address links directly to your individual websites on the advertisement. So, that will be an extra web link that may help your presence on the web. Our past experience in placing ads with Angloinfo have shown it results in large increases in visitors to a site if you include web links in your advert and of course at the same time increases business identity.
If you would prefer not to have your web address on the advertisement could you please let us know as soon as possible. If you haven't a web address but would like one for inclusion, again, contact us and we will sort something out.
The first social get together of the Normandy Networking group was held earlier last year in Vire at a restuarant in the town centre. We would like to thank Judie from First Rate FX for organising the meeting and all of those who came especially those of you who travelled from further afield.
The meeting had a good atmosphere with people from a large range of businesses.
The main points raised at the meeting and from a questionaire that everyone filled in was finding clients, advertising and publicity.
The main concerns raised were unsurprisingly, majority of worries were about finding clients, the lack of new British clients and related issues of advertising, publicity and IT/website.
As a temporary measure Judy set up a page on Facebook for the group. Penny from PennyGraphics.net got busy on the main NormandyNetworking.com website.
