This is great news for those of you with businesses that rely on trade between France and UK, as well as being a bonus for those of us who travel between UK and France and currently only have the ferry choices!  This will be very much a 'use it or lose it' service, so please do send the details around all your contacts, and spread the word!  I've already made my first booking - I'll get to London in June in under 2 hours door to door…  currently that same journey takes me over 6.5 hours!

Angloinfo advertAs part of promoting Normandy Networking businesses we plan to take out a commercial classified advert on Normandy Angloinfo earlier in the New Year. We intend to place web address links directly to your individual websites on the advertisement. So, that will be an extra web link that may help your presence on the web. Our past experience in placing ads with Angloinfo have shown it results in large increases in visitors to a site if you include web links in your advert and of course at the same time increases business identity.

If you would prefer not to have your web address on the advertisement could you please let us know as soon as possible. If you haven't a web address but would like one for inclusion, again, contact us and we will sort something out.

The first social get together of the Normandy Networking group was held earlier this year in Vire at a restuarant in the town centre. We would like to thank Judie from First Rate FX for organising the meeting and all of those who came especially those of you who travelled from further afield.

The meeting had a good atmosphere with people from a large range of businesses.

The main points raised at the meeting and from a questionaire that everyone filled in was finding clients, advertising and publicity.

The main concerns raised were unsurprisingly, majority of worries were about finding clients, the lack of new British clients and related issues of advertising, publicity and IT/website.

As a temporary measure Judy set up a page on Facebook for the group while Penny from PennyGraphics.net got busy on the main NormandyNetworking.com website.
